My In the Same Breath series began as a creative expression of the new (and a bit unnerving) season of empty nesting in my life.  The artwork created utilizes the quiet transitions that analogous colors and stripe patterns naturally embody as well as bold color contrast suggesting the uncompromising nature of life changes. The subtle transition of analogous color and line in each piece represents the continuous, tender and often unspoken alterations required in each season of life.
